Capturing Moments and Creating Memories
Who are we
The Cumnock & District Camera Club is a community of photography enthusiasts who share a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around us. Whether you're a beginner, an experienced hobbyist, or a professional, you'll find a welcoming space to explore, improve, and share your photography journey.
Founded in March 1958 following the completion of the Cumnock Academy F.E. Centre’s 1957–1958 photography class, the club was originally established to keep members engaged during the summer months, quickly evolving into a thriving hub for sharing knowledge, techniques, and a mutual love for photography.
Where are we
The club holds its meetings every Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the Barrhill Centre, situated at Bank Avenue, Cumnock, KA18 1PQ. Google Maps
Our Mission
At Cumnock & District Camera Club, our mission is to foster a creative, supportive, and educational environment for photographers of all skill levels. We aim to inspire members to push their boundaries, learn new techniques, and develop their photographic style while sharing their work with others.
